Grand Canyon, Arizona

Grand Canyon, Arizona

Day Twenty-Six

Leaving Las Vegas behind, some of us felt a little bit more worse for wear than others... Our first stop of the day was at Wallmart! This place is amazing! It has everything you could desire! Everything! Cheap too! :p

Our next stop was a little bit more interesting, as we headed to a famous Route 66 stop. This is the actual town that inspired the fictional town in the Pixar movie Cars. It was very pretty.

We finally made it into the Grand Canyon National Park and got our first glimpse at this natural wonder. It's so large that even when looking at it in person, it doesn't quite seem real.

Day Twenty-Seven

I had a completely free day in the National Park and decided to take one of the free shuttles as far as it went. Getting off at every stop to take photos.

It was a fantastic way to spend the day, it took nearly 4 hours to travel the whole route on the shuttle, only staying 10 minutes at each stop. I walked along the Canyon between two stops aswell. It really is difficult to comprehend how large this thing is!

When I returned back to the Village, Kate, Leeza, Jarryd and myself relaxed and watched a bit of the food network. Kate and myself then found Leeza's selfie stick...

We finished off our Grand Canyon experience with watching the sun set over the Canyon while sipping Aussie goon out of Red Cups... The classy fusion of Australian and American culture.
